Feathers & Stripes
Just because I've had it in my head to make a pirate hat for a quite a while. This one ended up looking more like something a French Dandy Pirate would wear.
Crown is made from a buckram base covered with striped fabric and the brim is black straw. Trimmed with handsewn, white petersham ribbon, black fancy trim, black rosette and plenty of black feathers!
